Frequently Asked Questions
I am a first time visitor, what should I wear?
People who attend TLF wear everything from jeans to business casual attire. Wear what you’re comfortable with! We’re casual about dress, serious about God.
Is there a lot of parking?
We have plenty of parking at the McLean Community Center parking lot.
What does a typical service look like?
A typical service lasts about 80 minutes. It begins with coffee, and snacks before the service so you can get to know people. We worship together with songs (words on a screen for you to follow along), a few announcements, the sermon. We have a potluck lunch once Sunday a month. Stay posted with our event calendar to find out more about what’s happening.
What is a Life Group?
Life Groups are a small group of 4-12 people that meet weekly or biweekly to share their lives, encourage one another, serve together, pray together and learn more about Jesus and His teachings.
Can I do my tithes and offerings online?
Our online giving module is still under construction. Once complete you will be able to click the menu item called “Give” where you will be directed to input your information. The information you provide is completely secure and goes straight to our accounting department through Paypal.
Can my kids stay in the service with me?
We encourage children to participate in our children’s ministry, but it is entirely the parents’ decision.
